Yin Yoga is for those seeking more muscle recovery and rehabilitation from old injuries post surgical procedures of any kind and it offers a slower paced but deeper connection to your whole being.... We are humans Being not Humans doing.... It offers a meditative style of yoga that focuses on passive stretching, while holding poses longer periods of time, to help cultivate a deeper awareness of your body and mind.  Yin Yoga Poses are usually held for 1 min up to 4 minutes depending on the type of pose.  The goal is to help relax the muscles and target the body's deep connective tissues, such as the joints, ligaments, bones and fascial networks.  We usually focus our work on the lower body, including the hips, pelvis, inner thighs and lower spine and shoulder girdle area to help open the chest and neck.
